As I transitioned to the UK system of Education at an MA level, I realized there were a number of things that were done differently, from the practical approach followed by the professors to the system of grading students.
The assignments are marked on the basis of a candidate’s enquiry, knowledge, process and realisation about a particular subject. It ensures a more holistic level of understanding. The readings each student is assigned for lectures fosters a sense of confidence and self-reliability, which is extremely important from a career perspective.
